Rewix is evolving: a new interface, new navigation and an improved user experience for B2B e-commerce
Managing a B2B ecommerce platform
Managing a B2B ecommerce platform means handling complex processes: structured catalogs, differentiated price lists, customers with specific commercial rules, recurring orders, approval flows, content, promotions, configurations and integrations.
For this reason, the management experience of a B2B ecommerce platform cannot simply be “nice to look at”. It must be clear, efficient, scalable and aligned with the way companies work every day.
With this vision, we are introducing a new evolutionary phase for Rewix, the B2B eCommerce eXperience Platform designed to support companies in the digitalization of their sales processes.
The updates that will be progressively released represent the first step toward a new generation of the Rewix management interface: more modern, more accessible, more organized and closer to the operational needs of users.
An evolution designed for those who work on Rewix every day
The starting point for this evolution was not just interface design, but the analysis of real usage flows.
We observed how users move within the platform, which features they use most frequently, which paths require too many steps and which areas can be made more intuitive.
This work was combined with the feedback collected from our top users: those who use Rewix most intensively and continuously.
The result is a set of improvements that act on several levels:
- navigation structure;
- table experience;
- filter management;
- information readability;
- visual hierarchy of actions;
- accessibility;
- graphic consistency;
- support for user onboarding.
The goal is simple: reduce perceived complexity and increase operational productivity.
New administration menu structure
The first intervention concerns the reorganization of the administration menu.
This is not just a visual update, but a new logical mapping of the platform areas. The new structure is designed to make it easier to distinguish between different operational activities and to reduce the time needed to reach the main functions.
The areas related to catalog management, orders, customers, content, marketing, configurations and monitoring tools have been organized in a more consistent way, better supporting users in their daily work.
This new structure makes it possible to more clearly separate operational activities from system settings, improving orientation within the platform.
For companies operating in complex B2B environments, with multiple roles, teams, markets and processes, clearer navigation also means greater scalability of the internal organization.
Advanced filters and saved presets
One of the most relevant updates concerns the filtering experience.
In B2B ecommerce, searching and segmenting data are daily activities. Users work with orders in different statuses, customers belonging to different segments, products associated with categories, brands, availability, markets or specific price lists.
For this reason, the new interface introduces a more advanced filter management experience, including the ability to save predefined configurations.
This means that users can create recurring operational views and recall them quickly, without having to set the same criteria every time.
Practical examples include:
- orders waiting to be processed;
- active customers in a specific market;
- products with limited availability;
- content awaiting review;
- users assigned to a specific role;
- orders associated with a specific sales channel.
The benefit is immediate: less time spent searching, greater operational continuity and more control over the information that really matters.
Faster navigation with double click
To speed up interaction with management elements, double click has been introduced as a quick access mode to detail pages.
This logic is particularly useful in table views, where users often work with lists of orders, products, customers or content.
With double click, users can access the detail page of the selected item more quickly, reducing the number of steps required and making the experience smoother.
It may seem like a simple improvement, but it is especially important for users who work intensively on Rewix throughout the day.
When an action is repeated dozens or hundreds of times, even a small time saving for each interaction can have a significant impact on overall productivity.
Column customization in tables
Tables are one of the main tools for working with data and processes within Rewix.
For this reason, the new interface introduces column customization features, designed to make views more flexible and closer to the needs of different business roles.
A customer care operator may need to quickly view order status, shipping, payment and operational notes.
A catalog manager may focus on SKU, category, brand, availability, publication status and product attributes.
A sales manager may want to highlight customer, price list, order value, sales channel and commercial conditions.
The ability to customize columns therefore allows users to build views that better reflect the way each team actually works.
This feature is currently available by right-clicking on the table. We are aware that this interaction is not yet the most intuitive for all users; the topic has already been addressed and we are studying alternative solutions to make this feature more visible and accessible.
New visual hierarchy for actions
Another area of improvement concerns the visual hierarchy of buttons and available actions.
In a complex management platform, each screen may offer many possible actions: save, edit, confirm, cancel, publish, export, filter, configure, access details or start workflows.
For this reason, it is essential that the interface helps users quickly distinguish primary actions from secondary ones.
The new UI introduces a clearer distinction between primary, secondary and tertiary buttons.
This choice improves usability, reduces ambiguity and makes it easier to understand which action is most relevant in a given context.
The result is a more organized, guided and less error-prone experience.
Updated look & feel, more consistent with the Rewix identity
The new interface also introduces an update to the platform’s look & feel.
Icons, colors, graphic components and interface micro-elements have been revised to offer a more modern, professional experience aligned with the Rewix brand identity.
The visual component has not been treated as a purely aesthetic element. In management software, design plays a functional role: it helps users navigate, reduces cognitive load and makes daily use of the platform more natural.
A more consistent and readable UI improves not only product perception, but also the quality of work for those who use it.
New status pills
Immediate status readability is essential in ecommerce process management.
Quickly knowing whether an order is being processed, whether content is published, whether a user is active or whether an item requires attention enables faster and more accurate decisions.
For this reason, the new interface introduces “pill” graphic components to represent statuses more clearly.
Status pills help make lists and detail pages more readable, improving the user’s ability to identify priorities, anomalies and relevant operational conditions.
This improvement has a direct impact on the daily management of orders, customers, products, content and workflows.
Smart summaries in key sections
In selected areas of the platform, summary sections will be introduced at the top of the page.
The goal is to allow users to immediately view the most important information, without having to search for it across different parts of the screen.
The first areas where this logic is particularly useful are user detail and order detail pages.
For users, the summary can make it easier to read key information related to personal data, role, status and commercial relationship.
For orders, the summary can immediately surface data such as customer, value, status, payment, shipping and operational progress.
This approach improves consultation speed and supports faster decision-making.
Language switch: available and being improved
The language switch feature is already available in the new interface by clicking on the settings icon next to the logout button.
We are aware that this placement is not yet the most intuitive. For this reason, we are working to improve its position and make access more immediate in future evolutions.
Multilingual support is an important element for many companies using Rewix, especially in international environments, with distributed teams or foreign customers.
Improving the visibility and accessibility of this feature means making the platform more consistent with the needs of organizations operating across multiple markets.
Accessibility: more inclusive and usable software
Specific attention has been dedicated to accessibility criteria.
The goal is to make Rewix increasingly inclusive, readable and usable for users with different needs.
The accessibility work involves several aspects:
- clarity of visual hierarchies;
- readability of elements;
- consistency of components;
- recognizability of statuses;
- organization of information;
- simplification of interactions.
Accessibility is not only a technical requirement. It is an essential component of software quality.
A more accessible interface is also a more understandable, more organized and more effective interface for all users.
Dedicated onboarding for the new interface
Every significant evolution in user experience needs to be properly supported.
For this reason, a general onboarding session dedicated to the new Rewix interface will be planned.
The onboarding will present the main updates and help users quickly become familiar with the new operational logic.
The focus will be on:
- new menu structure;
- use of filters;
- saved presets;
- column management;
- language switch;
- new navigation logic;
- status readability;
- main UI/UX improvements.
This session will help reduce adaptation time and allow users to make the most of the new features from the very beginning.
Dashboard: evolution planned for a later phase
The main dashboard has not yet been updated in this phase.
The focus of the current release is mainly on navigation, UI/UX, operational views, accessibility and information management.
The dashboard evolution will be evaluated in a later phase, with the goal of making it increasingly useful as an entry point to the key business insights.
An effective dashboard, in fact, requires more than a visual redesign. It requires identifying the most relevant metrics, the most useful data for each role and the best way to turn information into decision support.
A first step toward the next generation of Rewix
The updates introduced represent the first step toward a broader evolution of the Rewix ecosystem.
The direction is clear: building a platform that is increasingly powerful, clear, fast and suitable for supporting companies in managing the most complex B2B ecommerce processes.
In a market where B2B digital sales require increasing levels of integration, automation, personalization and control, the management experience becomes a competitive factor.
An ecommerce platform should not only enable companies to sell online. It should help them work better, govern data, reduce inefficiencies, improve collaboration between teams and support business growth.
This is the direction in which Rewix continues to evolve.
Rewix is changing its skin while staying true to its mission: offering companies a scalable, flexible B2B ecommerce platform ready to support increasingly advanced sales models.
The future of your B2B ecommerce is becoming clearer, faster and more powerful.
